Stainless steel has a high corrosion resistance due to the chromium oxide film developed on its surface. The welding of stainless steel causes a surface of iron oxides during the heating of the surface. The weld transforms the crystalline structure and the composition of this passive oxide skin, a porous layer of iron oxides is formed that colors the surface. Stainless steel in various deburring, grinding or machining operations may be contaminated with ferrous particles from the material used.

Application:
BONDERITE C-IC 18010 LIQUID is used pure after degreasing of the surface to be treated, if necessary. BONDERITE C-IC 18010 LIQUID is applied by immersion. The processing time is usually 20 minutes to several hours, depending on the surface condition and/or the alloy. Provide copious rinsing after treatment with BONDERITE C-IC 18010 LIQUID.
