BONDERITE C-IC 827 is a liquid, acidic derusting agent with a degreasing effect for iron and steel.
Application Areas:
Derusting and cleaning of iron, steel. A following phosphating process is not interfered with. BONDERITE C-IC 827 is used in industrial Immersion processes or manually by brush.

Prior to use it is necessary to read the Material Safety Data Sheet for information about precautionary measures and safety recommendations. Also, for chemical products exempt from compulsory labeling, the relevant precautions should always be observed. Application:
BONDERITE C-IC 827 is applied in an immersion or brush process.
Immersion process:For 100 l bath solution BONDERITE C-IC 827 55 to 85 kg = 50 to 70 l Water 30 to 50 l are mixed. Treatment time as required Temperature: Ambient
Brush process:
To get a ready to use solution BONDERITE C-IC 827 and water are mixed in a volume ratio of 2:1 to 1:1. The treatment is performed with a brush or an acid-resistant sponge. Heavily rusted parts must be moistened with water before the treatment. The solution has to keep the parts wet until all of the rust is dissolved. It has to be avoided that the solution dries onto the parts. It may be necessary to repeat the brushing with BONDERITE C-IC 827 when the parts are heavily rusted. After the treatment the parts can be phosphated and/or lacquered.
