TEROSON PU 9161 AF is a 2-component flexible foam which cures at room temperature. TEROSON PU 9161 AF can be painted with standard commercial car repair refinishing paints. The product is supplied in a convenient twin cartridge.
Application Areas:
TEROSON PU 9161 AF flexible foam is used to reduce vibration on metal components by isolating the outer sheet from the inner reinforcements resulting in a reduction of the NVH [noise, vibration, harshness] of the vehicle. Applications include door skins to intrusion bars, turrets to roof bows, bonnet and boot skins to frames and around the fuel filler apertures. The uncured material has excellent sag resistance and foams to a closed cell with 100% memory. Further information about the product: biuro@woronko-kleje.pl
Directions for use:
Application:
Protect any areas from accidental contact. Insert cartridge into a suitable dispensing gun and remove cartridge cap. Dispense a small amount of product to level the plungers. Attach mixing nozzle and cut end to desired bead size. Discard the first 2 cm of extruded adhesive bead. Dispense material between the relevant surfaces. If material is left in the cartridge, remove the mixing nozzle immediately to avoid migration of the foam back into the cartridge. Discard the application nozzle and place the cap onto the cartridge for a later use.
Curing:
Curing and foaming occurs at room temperature, by mixing of both components with a static mixer. If you are working in a cold environment, please warm up the material to room temperature before use (approx. 23°C).
