Product description:
TEROSON RB 53 is a solvent containing, brushable sealant based on styrene-butadiene rubber with high sag resistance. With the enclosed brush it is possible to reproduce the factory texture of the surface. TEROSON RB 53 is a high solid system with slight change in volume. As a result of this the brush texture will be nearly completly preserved. TEROSON RB 53 exhibits good adhesion to bare, galvanized, primed and painted steel sheets, as well as to rigid PVC. After drying TEROSON RB 53 can be overpainted with all standard automotive paints (conventional and waterbased). APPLICATION AREAS:
TEROSON RB 53 is particularly used for sealing overlap joints. It is mainly used in workshops were a brush texture will be reproduced like the factory texture during the application.
Directions for use:
Pretreatment
The contact faces must be dry, clean and free from grease. Small traces of oils can be absorbed by TEROSON RB 53. Rust, forging scales and peeling layers of paints must first be removed.
Application
TEROSON RB 53 is applied from the 1 l tin with a brush. Because of the rapid evaporation of the solvents the tin must be closed immediately after use. Corrections to the brush texture are possible until skin formation occurs in; afterwards the torn skin will produce an uneven surface.
