Product description:
TEROSON® VR 155 is a xylene-free plastic primer with no health hazard pictogram. The primer is used on plastic parts to improve the adhesion performance of plastic repair adhesives (TEROSON® PU 9225 SF/UF/ME), plastic filler product (TEROSON® UP 250) and MS or PU based sealants (TEROSON® MS 9220 or TEROSON® PU 9200), prior to painting, or for assembling parts. Directions for use:
Surface pretreatment
1. The surfaces to be coated must be dry, free from oil, grease, wax, dirt, release agents and plastic care products, which would adversely affect adhesion. Pre-cleaning with a high-pressure injection cleaner is recommended.
2. After drying (oven, infrared), clean the parts with TEROSON VR 10.
3. Finally, the plastic parts are sanded with a narrow belt or eccentric sander (grain120). After removing the sanding dust, the parts are cleaned one more time with TEROSON VR 10 (drying time minimum 5 minutes).
Preparation
1. Prior to use, shake the aerosol can vigorously by hand for at least 1 minute.
Application
1. Apply a thin and even layer of TEROSON® VR 155 from the aerosol can.
2. Turn the aerosol can upside down and blow off the spray head to prevent clogging.
3. Prior to adhesive application, minimum 5 minutes flash-off time must be observed.
Storage:
The product is classified as flammable and must be stored in an appropriate storage area in compliance with relevant regulations. Storeproduct in the unopened container in a dry location. Storage information may be indicated on the product container labeling. Optimal Storage: 5 °C to 25 °C. Material removed from containers may be contaminated during use. Do not return product to the original container. Henkel cannot assume responsibility for product which has beencontaminated or stored under conditions other than thosepreviously indicated.
