Product description:
Teroson RB 2759 is a high quality, gun-grade, one component sealant based on butyl rubber with a low solvent content. After evaporation of the solvents a permanent plastic, agingand weather-resistant material with good sealing function remains. Complete curing depends on ambient temperature and layer thickness. Any excess material can be simply dabbed off after curing. Until complete evaporation of the solvents volume contraction must be expected with Teroson RB 2759 as with all solvent containing products.
Application Areas:
Teroson RB 2759 is used for the following applications:
- Sealing of front-, rear-, side- and hinged window between rubber/glass and rubber/metal
-Sealing of polyester plates / aluminium rails at shower cubicals
-Sealing of metal overlaps and decorative moldings in the manufacture of car bodywork and caravans

Preliminary statement:
Prior to application it is necessary to read the Material Safety Data Sheet for information about precautionary measures and safety recommendations. Also, for chemical products exempt from compulsory labeling, the relevant precautions should always be observed.
Pre-Treatment:
As far as possible the substrates must be clean, dry, free of oil and grease. Small traces of oil and fat can be absorbed by Teroson RB 2759.
Application:
The processing out of nozzle cartridges or plastic wallets happens by use of common air pressure pistols or hand guns. For compressed air pistols 3 to 4 bar are needed. The material should be either applied between the parts to be sealed or to one side and then covered with the other part. Any excess material can be simply dabbed off either by using Teroson RB 2759 or any other plastic material, e.g. Teroson II or -VII.
