Product description:
TEROSON® WX 990 is a wax-based anti-rust agent in a spray can. When fully dry, protective wax forms a durable, non-peeling, water-repellent film. Because the flow point of the dry material is above 100°C there will be no running or dripping even in engine compartments. The dry film adheres well to bare and painted sheet steel. Further information about the product: biuro@woronko-kleje.pl
Application areas:
TEROSON® WX 990 is used for the protection of seams, surfaces and cavities in motor vehicles, construction machinery, agricultural implements and equipment for the home and garden. Because of its light colour, it is particularly suitable for use in motor vehicles for the protection of seams on bonnets and in boots. The material is also highly suitable for protecting cleaned engine compartments.
Directions for use:
Preliminary Statement:
Prior to application it is necessary to read the Material Safety Data Sheet for information about precautionary measures and safety recommendations. Also, for chemical products exempt from compulsory labeling, the relevant precautions should always be observed. Also, for chemical products exempt from compulsory labeling, the relevant precautions should always be observed.
Pretreatment
Parts which are to be treated with TEROSON® WX 990 should first be thoroughly cleaned and dried. Any rust should be removed.
Application
Shake the can well before use. Spray TEROSON® WX 990 as required and allow to dry. TEROSON® WX 990 should not be sprayed onto visible exterior surfaces as the dry film produces a matt appearance. When treating the engine compartment, care should be taken to ensure that it is not only dry but also cold (see application temperature). After treating engine compartments in motor vehicles and motors in other equipment and machines, the engine/motor should not be switched on until the protective wax film has been thoroughly aired. (Explosion hazard through evaporating solvent!)
